Doctor reveals the sex trends set to define 2025 - including 'freak matching'
It's often seen as a taboo subject, but one scientist is finally lifting the lid on our sex lives - and what 2025 has in store for them. Dr Olivia Lee, the Relationship Scholar in Residence at Doll Authority, has revealed the seven sex trends set to encapsulate the year ahead. Speaking to MailOnline, she said: 'From fashion to travel, many of us are eagerly anticipating the trends that may – whether we realise it or not – influence our choices throughout the year. 'However, it doesn't end there; several exciting and unexpected sex trends are also on the horizon, and it looks like 2025 is going to be very kinky.' Several of Dr Lee's predictions are based on the proliferation of artificial intelligence (AI) - including AI sexting, and AI-enhanced sex dolls.

Humans Marrying Robots? A Q&A with David Levy
She was totally skeptical of the idea that humans would fall in love with robots. She's still fairly skeptical, but she's beginning to appreciate something like this will happen. What happens if 50 years from now your predictions have not proved true, and humans and robots don't marry? I know some people think the idea is totally outlandish. But I am totally convinced it's inevitable. I would be absolutely astounded if I'm proven wrong--not if I'm a few years off, but if I'm proven completely wrong.

Prospect of sexual relationships with robots poses moral dilemmas
Could we fall in love with robots? Movies have been suggesting the possibility for some time, from a man falling in love with his computer operating system in the 2013 film Her, to robot lover Gigolo Joe offering his services to women in 2001's A.I. We are on the cusp of creating loveable robots. Leaps in artificial intelligence are making conversations with automatons less stilted, for example. One Silicon Valley company, Eternime, plans to let people create avatars of themselves that learn their speech patterns and life stories, then converse with loved ones after death. And robots themselves are becoming increasingly lifelike.
